SunstarTV Bureau: Union Education Minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced the date of much awaited schedule for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 board examinations, on Thursday.
According to reports, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the date sheet on February 2, 2021.
Pokhriyal has made the announcement while interacting with Presidents & Secretaries of CBSE Sahodaya School Complexes regarding the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. CBSE will digitalise the 45-year records of the students.
He said, “Computerized affiliation system to be based on data analytics & self-disclosure of schools. The records of all CBSE students who enrolled in the span of last 45 years will be digitalized. This will help citizens who enrolled after 1975 to get certificates easily”.
As per the other decisions, CBSE will train 10 lakh teachers in the coming year to meet the goals of the National Education Policy.
Earlier, on December 31, 2020, the Union Education Minister had announced the dates for the Class 10, 12 examinations. As per the announcement, the CBSE class 10, 12 board exams will commence from May 4.
The Practical exams will begin from March 1 and all exams will conclude by June 10. The CBSE class 10, 12 board examination results will be declared by July 15, 2021.
