SunstarTV Bureau: Police has busted out fake mineral water bottling unit and a fake cold drink manufacturing unit at Berhampur in Ganjam district, on Tuesday.
As per reports, the soft drink manufacturing unit was operating without any license and a huge stock of adulterated soft drink bottles were seized from the factory.
Despite being a beverage manufacturing unit, there was no mechanism for testing of the product.
On Sunday, an unauthorised factory engaged in manufacture of fake mineral water bottling was unearthed in Ganjam district.
The illegal unit was operating from a house in the second lane of Laxmi Vihar. Acting on a tip-off, Bada Bazar police conducted raid and seized huge quantity of water bottles having levels of reputed brands.
Earlier in the day, huge stock of the adulterated sauce and raw materials were also seized by Bada Bazar police seized at Ganesh Nagar area in the Silk City.
