Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash on Monday announced about the changes in pattern regarding the upcoming plus 2 examination in the state.
According to Education minister, the questions will come as per the reduced syllabus and the pattern also applied to both regular and ex-regular students enrolled in the new syllabus and those candidates who have registered in 2016 or later.
Reportedly, the students will have to appear the plus 2 examination which will have 50 percent multiple choice questions. Each question will carry 1 mark. Apart from this, there will be short-answer type questions (30%) with multiple choice options. Such questions will carry 2 or 3 marks each.
However, there will be no change appear in the exam pattern for the candidates who had registered in 2015 or earlier, official sources said.
The application for form fill-up will be issued soon.
Notably, on January 2, the State government had announced the dates for 2021 matriculation and plus 2 examinations. As per the official notification, the annual matriculation examination will be held on May 3. The exam will conclude on May 15, 2021. Similarly, the Plus II or class 12 examination in the State will be conducted between May 15 and June 11.
