Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday has informed that Odisha is all set to experience cold wave condition once again as temperature is likely to fall by two to three degrees from January 22.
However, shallow to moderate fog alert has been issued to few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri on January 2, informed Met Centre.
According to the Regional Meteorological Centre director HR Biswas, “There is no large change in minimum temperature (Night temperature) during the next 2 days fall. However, it will decrease by 2-3 degrees due to the return of north-westerly dry air after two days.”
Yellow warning for dense fog also issued to nine districts including Bhadrak, Kendrapara Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khordha, Puri, Nayagarh, Kandhamal and Jajpur on Thursday.
