Bhubaneswar (SunstarTV Bureau): After one day pause, once again the Covid-19 vaccination drive resumed in Odisha today.
The Health and Family Welfare Director Bijay Panigrahi informed that 31,902 health worker will be vaccinated in 380 sessions on Monday.
According to Panigrahi, around 1.92 lakh health workers in Odisha, 13,890 have been vaccinated so far. As for the remaining 1.78 lakh health workers, the number of sessions has been increased to 1,698 to complete the first-phase of vaccination by January 25.
“There will be 192 sessions on January 19 (Tuesday), 92 on January 20 (Wednesday), 436 on January 21 (Thursday), 141 on January 22 (Friday), 178 on January 23 (Saturday) and 279 on January 25 (Monday),” he further added.
The health workers who have received the first dose of vaccine, will be administered the second dose after 28 days. They will receive a reminder SMS two days before the administration of the second dose.
The Health and Family Welfare Chief Secretary Pradipta Mohapatra earlier said that there will be no vaccination on Sunday.
