SunstarTV Bureau: The Johns Hopkins University has examined the number of global Covid-19 cases which has surpasses the 93 million mark, while the death cases surged above 1.99 million marks.
As per the latest given statement of Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE), till Friday morning the current global caseload stood at 93,051,654 while the death toll counted to 1,991,997.
The US country recorded the world’s highest Covid cases and death rates at 23,308,712 and 3,88,529 respectively. Following US, India stands at second place with 10,512,093 Cases and with 1,51,727 death cases.
According to CSSE reports, other countries with more than a million confirmed cases are Brazil with 8,324,294, Russia with 3,459,237, the UK with 3,269,757, France with 2,909,879, Turkey with 2,364,801, Italy with 2,336,279, Spain with 2,211,967, Germany with 2,004,011and Colombia with 1,849,101.
The second highest number death toll recorded in Brazil at 207,095. Following Brazil, Mexico with 136,917, the UK with 86,163, Italy with 80,848, France with 69,452and Russia with 63,016.
