While Jharsuguda became the coldest town in Odisha with 8.2◦C followed by Phulbani (9.5◦C) and Angul (10.0◦C), Daringibadi recorded the minimum temperature of 10.0◦C, Baripada 10.5◦C, Koraput11.0◦C, Keonjhar 11.7◦C, Sundargarh 12.0◦C, Balangir 12.4◦C and Boudh 12.5◦C.
Similarly, the twin city Bhubaneswar witnessed temperature drop of 16.5◦C and Cuttack shivered with 13.8 ◦C.
According to MID the cold wind is entitled to prevail for 3 to 4 days more.
