SunstarTV Bureau: Singapore has approved Pfizer-BioNTech’s Covid-19 vaccine, to fight back the pandemic, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong informed, today.
Lee also added that the delivery of the first shots is expected to be materialized by the end of December this year.
The city-state of 5.7 million expects to have enough vaccines for everyone by the third quarter of 2021, Lee added. He further mentioned the government will make it free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents.
Lee said he and other government officials would be among the early recipients, after healthcare workers, frontline workers, the elderly and the vulnerable.
