SunstarTV Bureau: At least 12 places in the state witnessed a mercury drop below 14◦ C, informed the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.
Phulbani is the coldest city, recording the lowest temperature of 8.5◦ C on previous night, stated regional Meteorological Centre.
According to the weather office, Phulbani is followed by Sonepur 8.8◦ C. Whereas Daringbadi records 9◦ C, Anugul ( 10.6◦ C), Koraput (10.6◦ C), Bhabanipatna 11.6◦ C .
Meteorological department further predicts a fall of temperature up to 3 to 4◦ C in upcoming days.
