Hyderabad (SunstarTV Bureau): The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has stolen the show by winning 55 of the 150 wards against the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) poll.
Comparing to 2016 GHMC election, the TRS won fewer seats, as in last GHMC election, the TRS won Seats in 99 wards, the AIMIM 44, the Bharaytiya Janata Party (BJP) 4, Congress 2 and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) one.
However, this time BJP bagged 48 wards, following a strong campaign that saw several Union ministers and senior leaders visiting the city in the run-up to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls.
