SunstarTV Bureau: Veteran TV actor Ashiesh Roy passes away at an age of 55 due to kidney ailment on Tuesday at 3.45 am.
Roy’s staff member confirmed the news by saying that he had been suffering from chronic kidney ailment and was being admitted to the ICU in a Mumbai hospital in May this year.
Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) has expressed deep condolence over the demise of such luminous actor and member of the board.
He has acted in well known TV serials like –Chaldi Da Naam Gaddi as Das Gupta, by Hats Off Productions, Burey Bhi Hum Bhale Bhi Hum as Mansukh Popat, by Hats Off Productions, Mrs. & Mr. Sharma Allahabadwale as Anna, Sasural Simar Ka as Suryendra Daddoji Bharadwaj, by Rashmi Sharma, Jeannie Aur Juju as Chatur Ganguli, Tu Mere Agal Bagal Hai as Various Characters, Goldie Ahuja Matric Pass as Professor Ganguly, by Bad Company, Mere Angne Mein as Ashok by Sphere Origins, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi as Shankar Mandal, by Inspire Films and Aarambh as Maaran Dev, by Rose Audio Visuals
Roy was also seen on big screens.
